Just got back from this place, we popped in for a bite to eat for lunch. I ordered a breakfast and my partner ordered eggs benedict, we had a shandy a glass of wine. Never got the breakfast , waited 50mins and was then told it wouldn't be much longer, we had to leave as our dog was waiting at the groomers, how long does it take to cook a breakfast? We were the only ones in the restaurant waiting for food!! Girl behind the bar whom I will say was very pleasant, told us they had a new chef on, maybe they should get another as this one is hopeless. We paid for the food we never got and the girl told us she hadn't charged for the drinks. Another thing was they had varnished the tables in the restaurant but it hadn't set properly so if you leaned on the table you stuck to it, very odd. Avoid this place like you avoid covid. Nice old hotel located in the centre of Stone town. Bar/Lounge area is comfortable. Drinks are a bit expensive, but the staff are welcoming you can take your dog into the lounge area. Dog treats provided by the owner. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
