Maxi's Bistro - Cleveland

We went for my husbands birthday before the orchestra with our 4 kids. The food was amazing!! We all got something different and everyone was happy! Mussels appetizer was outstanding and the fresh baked bread incredible. Thank you for the birthday tiramisu as well! An incredible dining experience !

I had heard great things about Maxi’s but it was just sort of mediocre. The service was great but the food lacked. The appetizers were luke warm. The carbonara looked off-putting and I don’t think the peas were fresh they tasted like they had been previously frozen.

My first meal at Maxi's. Late Sunday afternoon dinner with quiet dining. Keep in mind Maxi's is an intimate, casual restaurant so when the dining area and bar is full, the noise level will increase. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Escargots were imaginatively presented and the Calamari Pasta was good. My friends also enjoyed their dinners.

Food was good but the place smelled. Wait staff was good but it was a Birthday dinner and there was no offer to comp a dessert on a $100 dinner check.

As good as ever. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
