Bidrage med feedbackThe real Indian taste . Specially the guests from India loved their food. You name a dish and they have it. The real knowledge of food. Loved their chicken Korma and their humble service
Awful service, took half an hour to make a frap and one wrap..never going again, also was the only customer there
Great food love the service. Our son ordered something that wasn't on the menu and they were happy to make it.
Probably the worst customer survive possible, been twice the first time no one even bothered to come serve me after ringing the bell the 6 time, second time around they showed up after about 5 minutes, the lady rolled her eyes at me then took around 15 minutes to make my order telling me it would take no more then five because I was in a hurry, the smoothie tastes like nothing and the panini it's just plain egg on bread with no seasoning, you're better off going to seven eleven
I stopped at this little hole in the wall (is this a chain? It seems several locations pop up when you look then up, which is more confusing than anything) on my way to take the Langley Chilliwack connector bus. It is a half cafe, half Indian food restaurant, with a basic but appropriate list of selections. The decor is simple, with a few wall paintings to brighten the place up. The man who served me I went up to the counter when I walked in, but perhaps they do table service was relatively friendly and attentive, refilling my water every few minutes. I didn't take in any of the baked goods or coffee varietals, so I will rate the quality of Indian food here. I opted for the Goat Curry, a dish that holds a special place in my heart. At first when it arrived, I thought the portion was tiny, as they are served in those metal bowls and I couldn't help but wonder how many pieces of meat were present in the sauce. After digging in, I was pleasantly surprised that the portion, along with two halves of regular Naan bread, was actually more than enough to satisfy my growing hunger. The quality, however, was mediocre the Naan was bland and floury, the meat pieces were small, and the curry sauce was far too oily. I enjoyed that it was prepared at a 4/5 spice level, just the way I asked. I happened upon this place by chance and made no detour to taste their food, so I wasn't as disappointed as I would have been if I was anticipating much better. For a little place that's trying to stay alive it will do, especially with their cafe collaboration, but if they want to stay a cut above and improve business place was dead when I was there City Blends is going to have to up its curry game big time.
