Anchor Grill - City of Superior

First time visiting and we LOVED it!!!! Such a wild environment but everyone was so nice!!! We sat at the bar, my husband ordered a burger and beer, I had a sandwich and soda. Visited with strangers who sat by us and had so much in common!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

No doubt the burgers were amazing. We ordered a side of fries and they were delicious and freshly made from sliced potatoes. My only criticism is the service. The two female bartenders were pretty unfriendly and a couple of the servers as well. I feel as if we were an imposition. Maybe that’s part of the “charm” of this place?

Went at 11pm on a whim on date night. No regrets. Best burgers in a dive bar. Attentive staff. Fun ship decor.

A must-stop when you are in the Duluth/Superior area. Used to go here when I was in College, came back 7 years later and it is just as good! Delicious food, cheap prices, and just a cool little spot all around. 5/5!
