A great place for special occasions. very delicious!

Such an amazing sleeper. a walk, seems like a casual, neighboring bar with a few tables. from the host to the server to the bartender to the chefs were all we interacted with wonderful. they had personalities (in contrast to robots) and were so helpful and knowledgeable, beyond and beyond. the menu was adventurous, organic and has something for everyone. the burger see was perfectly prepared and delicious. the pig dog must not be overlooked. we're coming back!

While we had a good experience, I expected better in view of the high ratings and higher prices. I'm going to the host to check-in. I get a moment in a sarcastic ton. okay, but they weren't busy and isn't the hostess to welcome her? our server was very pleasant, so kudos to her. She brought the warm and water glasses full. it's wintertime in duluth and my wife I asked for her daily suppe. they have no suppe. how do they not have a suppe in winter? I then went with a side salad....choose the dressing:Franze, blue cheese or a spicy vinagrette. that is it? the salate came out and it was not fresh. the tomotoes were cut a few days ago, put in a refrigerator and dried. my wife ordered the beet salad and I ordered shepards cake. both were very tasty, but portion size was particularly disappointing for the price. our drinks, which we very good as kudos at the bar tender! as I said, we had a good experience, but we had higher expectations. maybe a night?

Why would they go to duluth somewhere else? every time my man and I go to another city: boston, seattle, chicago etc. and we eat in a beautiful restaurant. we are always disappointed because it is never as good as lake ave. the menu is always spectacular and changing, and each one of the workers is part of an amazing and teamwork-oriented family. they will not be disappointed if they enjoy good eating.
