This is my second time eating here. I was looking for a good home cooked meal for those days that I don't feel like cooking for myself.I couldn't say enough about how good the food is and the staff makes it feel like you are getting a plate of food from family.

This brick and mortar location is closed and appears to be shut down! Zero stars! Now have to search all over for a place to eat!

Took 1.3 hours to get food. That in itself isn’t an issue had they just said this was case.Also no bread with any of our orders. Also the sides were incorrect.I am not sure how the food tastes. But rest of the experience tasted awful.Do not waste your time of care about any thing being handled correctly.

Found this gem of a place. Got fried chicken with sides of black eye peas and tomatoes and mac n cheese/broccoli casserole. Perfectly seasoned fried chickens. Also ordered fried pork chop with sides of Carribean Cabbage and Yams. Again.. perfectly seasoned fried pork chop. The YAMS were banging, sweet but not too sweet. Owner/Chef was working by herself, had to wait a little but DEFINITELY worth the wait. Will DEFINITELY get my money again and again. I'm a cook myself that cooks a variety of ethnic food. This Gem of a small restaurant mom/pop shop will not let you down if you are looking for excellent comfort soul food.
