I never make complaints as no company is perfect, and every business will make occasional mistakes when working with customers, but this location has hit a whole time deeply. I give grace in the expectation of longer waiting times, as most industries are short occupied, but I waited for GRACIOUSLY in the journey over 30 minutes only to be rejected as it was to order my turn. I was told by the employee that she refused to take my order and was only fulfilling Door Dash orders. She followed the statement that there were only 2 employees. I am not sure that a chain restaurant is even legally allowed to be open with this number of employees. I saw 10 vehicles have to drive away after they had expected absurd waiting time because their staff were denied us. Not to mention that there were no signs that someone was before sitting in the ridiculous line. I don't want any business that works in this way. They don't put their customers first.
I ordered before the app and could not have imagined the satisfaction of the dill (pickle) burger and vanilla ice cream coffee. What a wonderful dinner in the late night and a 1100 meal well worth! I'm just sorry there's no more! Service was very fast when I arrived and the food was the right temperature and wonderful.
I've experienced the worst customer service I've ever had. After spending a day in Carowinds, my family and I used the sound app to order a late dinner. Spent almost $50 as we had eaten?t since the afternoon. We arrived at Sonic and followed the instructions to warn the staff we waited in a stable. Two minutes later, an older gentleman? with a receipt in his hand. He said that they were closed early due to short staff work, and had our order?On the screen. He went out of his way to say that he had nothing to do with the app, and therefore we would call and get a refund. I know this is not true, because if you are looking for locations on the app, other sonic restaurants show that mobile order is not available. I guess he just forgot to turn off the function in this place, then an apology to avoid responsibility and accountability. He never apologized as a representative of sound. He offered no solution or comfort. He was flat in his tone and almost declining. He had the worst attitude and the decline of anyone I ever met in the service industry. I could say he had a hard day, but that's not a reason to treat the payment of customers so badly. I asked him to write about the receipt that we did not receive our order so that I had no problem getting a refund. He literally said ?no, I don't write on revenue?. I asked him his name, and he said? My wife called him because he still had the reception in his hand, and he cried that he was done with us and he told us he couldn't help. We had to literally ask another employee to go inside and take the reception. I need a call from corporate and a call from this location ASAP. The manager owes me and my family an apology. I don't want anything free, that's not the point. I want an apology and a refund. Will never return to this place. He refused to give me his name. Tony? I'm not sure if Tony was an associate who would have brought out our order if it existed, or the managers?
This Sonic is one of the best I've ever been! Their hot dogs and special lemonade (which I forgot the name) are simply phenomenal. Finding it might be a little tricky. Even with busy hours, you can get your food quickly.
The wait was kinda long but the employee were super friendly and was working as fast as possible . The food is always cooked just right and I've never had a problem with it. Was alittle disappointed in the sweet tea but not everyone wants to get diabetes like I do when I get sweet tea so I don't hold that against them haha I'm from out of town and can tell you this sonic is way more organized an more friendly then my home town! Great work
