Aura Rooftop - Charlotte

Never got to experience Aura because they called me 20 mins before my reservation to cancel my appointment bc it was cold outside. Well duh guys it’s December. Your experience is literally called the Winter Garden. And to top it off they tell me. Oh we can move you downstairs to our sister restaurant Carolina Oyster Bar. Yes my girlfriend who’s allergic to seafood would love to go into Anaphylactic shock for her birthday.

Enjoyed the vibe. Food and drinks were amazing. Service was great and our waitress was very pleasant.

Not impressed with drinks, no food available after 6pm, and NO snow! Not worth it!

Went for the holiday rooftop experience it felt more like spring. The snow that the social media influencers posted about wasn’t on and that’s the only real thing to make it feel wintery. I liked aura better without the tent when it was fully open to see the skyline.

Drinks were very good, but sushi was just ok especially for the price/portion.
