My whole fish was good but overpriced. My husband’s grouper was undercooked and also overpriced. The atmosphere was lacking in feeling cozy.

What a lovely and quaint restaurant. The staff was attentive and polite. The food was fresh and delicious. We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed our evening

Service was very very slow. 20 minutes passed before we were spoken to and it was not at all crowded. Food was good but it was almost 45 min after we arrived that we ate. Waitress was very nice.

We've eaten at Rock Salt probably a dozen of times over the past 3-4 years. Last night was the worst and really the signal of the restaurant's decline. We arrived on time for our reservation and despite there being multiple open tables had to wait to be seated. After that, at least 10 minutes before we were acknowledged, and not even by our waitress. Another 5 minutes for her to arrive. Despite being early October, they are still working off the summer menu. One of the appetizers we ordered didn't even come close to matching the menu description. When we waived down the waitress she said they had changed the recipe but hadn't updated the menu. Multiple other examples of just a deteriorating restaurant. Note this wasn't a shortage of employee situation that we've seen at so many other places recently. Plenty of workers, just a case of food quality and focus on customers. Even after a lengthy conversation with our waitress about our experience, she brought us the wrong check. This is definitely our last time dining at Rock Salt. If you love it, go soon because I have a sneaking suspicion they won't be around too much longer.

Second time to Rocksalt. First visit was fantastic. Second trip on a Sunday not so good due to the server never came back after our apps were served to take our dinner order. Finally got him flagged down and the specials were no longer available. We were set in the special and had he returned we could have ordered it. We left and went to another restaurant at that point. Otherwise good is great there.
