Riccio's Italian - Charlotte

I've heard they are closing and wonder if their business is off. The quality of the food is not as good as I remember. The prices are a bit on the high side and seating has always been a challenge at this location. I hate to see another South Charlotte staple disappear but it may be time.

Pretty good, big plates of pasta! Veggie Chicken pasta with Alfredo was yummy I liked that the sauce wasn’t overly thick. Very friendly servers

I love Riccio's! It's been a south Charlotte staple since forever and the food is awesome! I'm especially fond of the Tomato Bacon pizza and the Baked Ziti, but seriously everything is good. I wouldn't hesitate to go here with kids or on a date night, it's right in that sweet spot where it works regardless of who's in your group.

A bit disappointed is an understatement. A friend stated it's her favorite Italian in town and ordered carry out for my hubby and I. I have never had lasagna in which all the noodles were stacked and all the filling below. I fully expected it to be layered and more traditional.

The service was excellent, our appetizer was burnt but they got it taken care of right away. The pasta was INCREDIBLE. it was the perfect vibe for a date night without the kids!
