Bidrage med feedbackToday we visited Punta Cana Restaurant. We live in Charleston SC. I will say the place was clean. I just knew it had to be good it had a good amount of customers in the restaurant. The food was delicious as well as the portions. The presentation ofthe food was good. We had pork and mofongo, carne frita and mofongo, Cuban sandwich with lettuce and tomato added as an extraand breaded chicken with moros and yuca frita. Enjoy our pictures.
Will I be taking that 2 hour drive to Charlotte more often? YES! This restaurant has the best Dominican food in NC. My husband had the white rice with beans and chicharrón which he said was so good! It was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Ihad the mofongo with shrimp and sauce. It was delicious , perfect texture and flavors. I highly recommend trying their food , Ipromise you it will not disappoint. Everything was great from service to food to environment.
Being honest, I have never had Dominican food before but I did grow up in Brazil and recognized several of the dishes on the menu. The smells just walking in were divine! I had the beef pastelles and devoured them promptly before taking pictures andthey definitely reminded me of the ones I got in Brazil. I had the marinaded beef, rice with beans and plantains. Everythingwas perfectly seasoned and delicious! It is a definite 10 out of five! And it was more food than I could eat by myself.
Needs some upgrades. Food was good. My black beans were a little cold. There was 5 of us, everyone enjoyed their meal. One guess had red snapper he said it was a little dry. Other than that the food was good and the waitress was attentive. Goodservice.
The food here was terrible! Definitely not Dominican! For some reason everything what we ordered such pernil, moro, habichuelas and roasted chicken was so salty. Not to mentioned that food took forever to come out and the service was bad. Never againwill we go back here. DO your self a favor and look somewhere else for good dominican food .
