L'épicurieux - Chalon-sur-Saône

Salmon Tartar, Mediterranean flat followed by shrimp incornets etc... No flavor. Quality price report deplorable. Too bad the street and nice the place too. There's no real recipes.

By chance of our visit to Chalon-sur-Saône, we fell on this restaurant in the heart of St.Lawrence Island. What a good surprise! First of all, we took the aperitif on the terrace with a small tapnade plate offered by the house. We then returned to eat inside and it was a real pleasure for our taste buds. Our plate composed of shrimps, squides, cornets and finely seasoned vegetables was tasted with undisguised pleasure. We finished our meal with a perfectly golden chocolate marrow. A treat! The boss, really nice and nice, brings the final touch to this great evening we spent with my partner. Really an address to remember. Thanks again!

Home and impeccable service, very friendly server. The dishes are rich and tasteful. Cooking meat (beef, lamb, pork) perfect. Sober and pleasant frame. A very good time shared between girls.

Very nice restaurant, very nice waiter, however we found that the wait between the entrance and the dish was too long (1h ... so yes the restaurant was full, I can conceive that there is waiting but it has been long anyway.. Especially when you see people getting served while they arrived after us.. in the entrance I took the salmon tartare, super good and super fresh! However, the dish was not top, it was the false net, not tender meat and sauce not to my taste at all (sauce to the coffee that was really boring (after that’s only my personal taste Maybe it's time to resound, see the next map. My comments are not intended to lower the restaurant and the professional team. I just share my opinion.

Restaurant ideally located on St Laurent Island with a good value for lunch. The cooked dishes are of quality. Friendly and professional staff. The service is relatively fast, convenient if you want to have lunch at noon.
