TURF N SURF Barcaldine Restaurant

We came here for dinner and was immediately given a warm welcome by the barman/waiter. He was very friendly, engaging and hospitable. He made us aware that mains would take a little while to prepare. We sat outside, overlooking a field with a beautiful sunset. I had the Stockan’s Surf and turf with Ribeye, prawns and garlic sauce. It was very good. My dining companions had T-Bone and the barramundi. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the portions were generous and reasonably priced.

We had a very delicious dinner at surf and turf. I had the lamb chops and hubby had the rib fillet. Both were tender cooked just right. Veggies were fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Just a really good night

I stayed at the motel for 4 nights on a business trip and ordered room service from the restaurant for dinner and breakfast each day. The quality of the meals was excellent and they always arrived on time. During my stay, I tried the Rissoles, Barramundi, Oysters Kilpatrick, and Lamb Chops for dinner, all of which were cooked perfectly and served in generous portions. The staff were accommodating of my special requests for side dishes. I also spoke with locals who highly recommended the Surf and Turf dish.

Visited this restaurant for dinner and thought it was fantastic. My partner had the fillet steak and I had the garlic prawns. The steak was cooked to perfection and the prawn dish was loaded with tasty large prawns and delicious garlic sauce and rice....and veges. Compliments to the chef and staff.

We went for dinner tonight without a booking were told that there was no availability for dining in so ordered takeaway. Whilst waiting for out meal a table was made available to us. Good variety of dishes meals were lovely.
