Addendum: 16Feb24 Back in town. Stopped by for coffee and juice. Pleasantly surprised with awesome fresh orange juice for my wife and the owner gave us a pastel de nata that was the best I’ve had in Portugal! Amazing! AND, the coffee is as perfect too. Every time we stop here just impresses us more. 05Oct23 Went here several times over 2 weeks. The owner was always working hard and had a memory like an elephant. Very nice gentlemen. Depois de um fantástico jantar na Confraria na noite anterior, encontrámos um local fenomenal para o pequeno almoço no dia 31 de Dezembro, desta vez sem Dédalo envolvido, mais uma escolha dos Melhores do Mundo Eu e o Gorjão atacamos imediatamente o Pão de Mendes, faltam apenas dois, e o furioso do Impulsivo apagou as luzes por alguns segundos, e para se vingar, ele ordenou, Boleima, Salame, Sericaia, Pão de Leite misto, e Um Galon (Latte ou Galão na língua nativa do seu Deus uma das muitas línguas, especialmente as mulheres adoram) Com frio lá fora ele ficou surpreso e super feliz como uma criança que o sistema de ventilação era tipo Disneylândia, e música fantástica da Rádio Comercial, mas o que nos fez passar 1 hora lá, foi a decoração fantástica, com fotos pixelizadas na parede, onde você podia contar cada peça, feita na década de 90 e que ainda está lá. Tinham uma selecção de queijadas fantástica, que o teu Vingador provou muitas, e até deram o nome a uma, disseram é um sonho ter te aqui, nunca pensámos que iríamos receber o Vingador em Castelo de Vide, e agora chamamos Castelo de Vide . Mendes isso tocou o coração do seu Vingador, já que seu antigo castelo era onde ele morava com sua ex esposa, e agora tem uma vila inteira e um lugar onde mais gente o idolatra, forma fantástica de começar 2024, com uma fogueira para aquecer nossos corações . Um lugar para ir, onde você pode ter uma comida fantástica e proprietários super bem vindos.

Had a very nice beer and Aperol Spritz here. The owner/bartender was very helpful in trying to understand what my wife wanted and ended up making a very nice Campari/wine/soda. The place is full of locals which is always a good sign, and the egg tarts are excellent!
