Il Poggetto - CASTELLINA MARITTIMA

The Poggetto is a farm that also serves restaurant, and therefore the local is located in a beautiful and quiet green area, not too far from the center of the village, and is surrounded by spaces where children can also play. Study the road well before you go, or rely on a satellite navigator (or the indications of some of the castles... because the place is not very marked on the roads that you walk to arrive. The food, consisting mainly of local dishes, is very tasty, although the choice is not very wide (but the thing is to be taken as a signal of genuineness and freshness. The service is great and fast, and are available both indoors, in a beautiful large room, also suitable for celebrations, both outdoors, in the beautiful season. Quiet, relaxing, very advisable.

Great food (to cut really delicious, very good first) and abundant, service very attentive to the needs of the customer. Emi, Sofia and Greta welcomed us and treated with professionalism and sympathy. I'm totally reasonable. To try without delay. We'll be hungry again!

We happened in this restaurant/pizzeria by chance, a little place in the green of Catellina, easy to reach with large parking, there is a beautiful indoor room and a beautiful terrace to eat outside in summer, allowed pets at least when dinner on the terrace as in our case. We were 4 and we took 3 pizzas, a fish soup and a crostini cutter, 4 beers a bottle of water; they offered us the menu of the day and the soup was among them, it was VERY good and tasty, the pizza something super seasoned and the delicious dough, with the edge a little 'high Neapolitan pizza style but well cooked and crisp. We took four desserts. Super honest price 20€ per person of these times for a pizza we are accustomed to spend much more, great service, attentive waiters. We loved it and we will definitely come back!
