Izakaya Hachi Torrance - Carson

The food is soooo good. We had tuna tartare, sea urchin and blu fin toro sushi, shishto and mushroom, skewers and a lot of other dishes and everything was delicious. The dessert was also very nice.Food: 5/5

Very disappointed that Hachi no longer serves their special sweet soy sauce when you order sashimi. There's no longer a need to come here because I can get sashimi with regular salty soy sauce at any other Japanese restaurant.

Bast Japanese best izakaya restaurant in that area. I would recommend for date and party.

Absolutely amazing gem in Torrance. We had the chef's tasting menu. Highlights were the chicken cartilage skewers, sashimi plate, pork belly, and steak. If you get the hotpot with tripe, make sure to eat it fast, the tripe gets tough quickly. Service was good until near the end, it took a while between our second to last course and the hotpot, but they gave us an extra dish without us even mentioning the wait!

More on the expensive side for what you get. The host was not too kind. He was not to helpful. Seem angry and somewhat upset since I couldn’t understand what he was saying yo me
