Rachel’s Garden Cafe - Carlow

The garden center is beautiful and worth spending a few hours exploring. However, I was very disappointed with the cafe as the food was overpriced and the portion sizes were small. It was also frustrating to receive only half a sandwich and two small salads when we had ordered a full meal.

Exciting news! Our favorite dishes are back. I am pleased to announce that the fruits are fresh once again, delicious, and most importantly, back to their generous size. It seems like the chefs have taken back control from the restrictive accountant. Thank you for bringing back one of the simple pleasures in life.

The kids' hot chocolates and cappuccinos were fantastic. However, it was disappointing to see no sandwich or wrap options available on a Saturday afternoon during the peak of summer. Even more disappointing was the lack of alternative options to the usual chicken nuggets and fries for children, especially when the restaurant prides itself on offering fresh, local ingredients. A brand that makes a promise should strive to keep that promise.

Rachels caffe used to have the best scones in the graphic carlow. fresh, generous and delicous. unfortunately at two recent visits they had not been baked this morning and the size! they are now reduced to less tha of their pre-lock size. where did you shave while that happens? not the one who is going to bring us faithful customers back. please speak!

We had breakfast at Rachaels Garden Cafe at the Arboretum Garden Centre near Leighlinbridge last week on our way down the country. Breakfast food was ok but nothing to special and seemed to be a rather convoluted affair with a certain number of items for...a certain price. The ambience was pleasant and the staff were also pleasant.
