Lemon Coffee House - Carlow

Lovely coffee house well positioned in Carlow town. Food is lovely and reasonably priced. Nice to visit anytime but specially morning time for the scones and coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I ordered a soup and wrap for lunch to go. The soup was excellent and tasted homemade, but the wrap was soggy with an overwhelming amount of pesto and mayo, causing it to stick to the paper wrap. It was not a very enjoyable experience.

This place has the best coffee I've ever had. The staff are really friendly and they have a great selection of gluten-free options. It's lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by.

I visit this restaurant almost every weekend, either with my family, friends, dog, or by myself! The staff is always very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. The coffee here is the best I've ever had (especially the dark roast latte or chai latte) and the food is consistently delicious and fresh, all at a great price. I can't recommend this place enough. Additionally, this cafe is the only one in Carlow that allows dogs and even provides water for them, which I think deserves a 10 out of 10 rating.

Clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff. But 2 things bothered me here milk is kept on the tables in open jugs. That means that when you want to add milk to your coffee you have no idea how long it 's been sat out or who 's been coughing or sneezing in it. Gross. Secondly, this is 2015; processed, reconstituted chicken is not fooling anyone. Disappointing.
