Sunny Fish Chicken - Carlisle

Popped in for a chippy tea after a busy day. Been using this place for over 20 years. Very consistent and excellent value for money. Fish and chips and a nice bit of Cumberland sausage with chips....Great as always.

As someone who enjoys trying out different types of Western Chinese food, I have tried out many takeout options. Sunny's is a true gem. Their curry is the best in town, with just the right consistency and perfect balance of spices (not too overwhelming). Their Chinese BBQ sauce also adds a delicious flavor to every dish. I highly recommend it.

Ordered curried fish and chips for myself and the family had a mixture of the menu all great food the fish was like a whale and really fresh and the rest of the families food was also very fresh and service was brilliant the order was ready when we went to collect

The fish and chips here are delicious! Batter is mouth watering and the chips are lovely. Have only tried chicken fried rice and the curry sauce as Chinese and whilst tasty, nothing special. Fish fillets are nice too- lots of batter!

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Carlisle. The special curry and noodles dish is a generous portion and always delicious. They also make great chips.
