Sticky Bits Cafe - Carlisle

The staff, especially Pam, are very friendly. While the food and drinks are decent, they are not the main draw of this restaurant. The main reason to visit is the welcoming and safe environment it provides for the LGBTQ+ community.

This cafe is fantastic. It provides a safe space for the LGBT community to come together and socialize. In addition to being clean and welcoming, the cafe also serves alcohol. The diverse mix of age groups creates a friendly atmosphere, and Pam, the cafe's volunteer owner, is truly amazing. She deserves recognition for all she does for the LGBT community. All are welcome in this LGBT cafe. Enjoyed a lovely bacon buttie with a cuppa on one ocassion and a nice scone another time. Nobody tries to hurry you here. You can read your paper whilst you enjoy your drink. They have magazines and leaflets...to browse too. Handy for the castle, cathedral and Tullie house museum.

Good prices. Handy location near castle and museum as well as cathedral. Friendly staff who give good service. Great sausage sarni.
