Best Tacos around! Great service. The Hacienda is good to... Good cheaper chorizo. Have tried the steak, the pulled pig and the shrimp tacos all fantastic... wash them with horchata!

Fantastic food. Excellent interior with tons of space and seating. The food is at a higher price for Mexicans in this area. But very high quality and delicious. Good service and great chips and salsa. Recommend Steak Tacos! Went during lunchtime and it was packed with employees and customers.

Very friendly staff. You pay apple. Strong cold margaritas! The Cervesa was cold. Crisp. I highly recommend this restaurant.

El Paisano is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Carbondale. I always get the dinner special that includes a tamal, enchilada, burrito, taco, chile relleno (they actually do these right, unlike some places I've visited as of late) tostada, AND rice and beans for $11.99. You can't beat that value! It's also great to go to the little grocery store attached to the restaurant. They carry great snacks and necessities if you want to prepare Mexican cuisine at home.
