Pound Bakery - Calderdale

Bought sandwiches ,pies and cakes ,staff friendly ,good choice of items ,all reasonably priced love the chicken chilli mayo,and tuna with cucumber,the bread is lovely too

Typically, the sandwiches at this restaurant are great value and I have seldom had a negative experience. However, yesterday I tried a cheese and onion pasty and it was terrible. There was hardly any onion and the cheese was flavorless. I would have returned it, but I was already on my way home. It is possible that the pasty had been sitting in the shop for too long since it was close to closing time.

Freshly baked and brilliant prices ,how can you go wrong. Very busy. Nice staff. Wish there was one where we live.

Me and my 11 year old got the muchies in town, had a chicken pasty and sausage roll, wasn't hot but warm and really nice, full of filling, yum

Used to be good but they have cheapened the products so much..smaller and a lot less filling. and they had put prices up as well so they cant have it both ways. traditional was the best but rubbish now. would rather pay the bit extra an go to greggs now.
