Marinades Indian Restaurant - Cairns

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local bus driver as the best Indian restaurant in Cairns. He was not wrong. As we love our Indian cuisine this Restaurant did not disappoint, so now we are recommending this restaurant to other people we know or meet. The food here was, we could not fault it, the Staff we attentive without being in your face and the owner TJ we could have stayed all night talking with him. We were so impressed in our short stay in Cairns we had to return we were so impressed. On our next trip to this area, we will be making it a priority to visit this restaurant for some more magical tasting food. To finish all I can say is if you are considering eating at this restaurant, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed.

We ordered 4 curries and every one was as good as the other. Heat ratings were bang on what we asked for (medium to hot) and the flavours were perfect. It was a busy night (Valentine's Day) and yet the service was great and meals weren't an overly long wait. Very impressed. For those who remember the old Marinades, the quality of meals was just as good. We'll be back. For reference we had a Chicken Saag, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and Chicken Madras. All highly recommended.

Im sure it’s good on a good night however we must have been there on a bad night. We waited 40 minutes for our food and got delivered the wrong food However staff were very friendly and accommodating .

My wife and I had the most delicious meal here. I had chicken jalfrezi, she had paneer. Best in Cairns. Service was friendly and efficient. Meal perfectly cooked. Portions well above standard abd reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Having traveled across the country I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant in Australia. The Madras…the Korma..and then the vindaloo oh so good, was here for two days and we did dinner here for both
