This is a cool place to dine in. The ambiance is really nice. The food tastes really good. Empanadas are their starts definitely try them. I felt its a little expensive for no reason. I definitely recommend this place. You can decide once you are there

Their food is beyond good we started off with the empanadas and let me tell you they are cooked to perfection and made fresh to order I promise. We got a bit greedy and got the garlic shrimp over the avocado with bread on the side and I literally come here for the Garlic shrimp they add a spice of love into it. Now for the meal I had shrimp white rice sweet plantains and a side salad. They ask how you want your plantains which is perfect we?re all a little different !

I chose Cuba de Ayer because it was midway to a friend's house for us to meet for lunch. What a wonderful surprise. The service was very warm and helpful, and the food was very authentic and perfectly prepared. We both had a port disk, and the pork was tender and very well seasoned as were all the side dishes. Next visit will be with my family.

Enjoy the sandwich de Cubano here with authentic crunch of pressed Cuban bread (or opt for a softer Media Noche). This is great value Cuban food, but encourage the manager to include rice and beans as they do other entrees or a least a meal price to add vs. full side portions. The servers are top quality here. They know their menu, are most attentive and interact with guests. Take dessert home since you might eat your leftovers while still at the dinner table
