Bidrage med feedbackAlways a great place to go. Sometimes can be a little bit loud because there's lots of people who celebrate their birthday there, but that's okay. People are having fun. Although I have noticed the price increase since COVID, the food is still very good and the person cooking in front of you add that little splash of pizzazz to make a funny evening. I absolutely loved the scallops. I do enjoy sushi as well so we had some sushi appetizers. Best to make reservations
This used to be our favourite place to go for Hibachi meals but the past 2 times have been far from what we’re used to. We went for my moms birthday and were placed in the back room without a fan so it was incredibly smokey. They started sweeping and cleaning while we were still eating and we felt rushed to leave. We decided to give it another go this week and the service was far from average. Had to ask multiple waiters for refills on drinks, actually took it up to the bar ourselves one time. There was no “show” with the knives, eggs etc and the rice was over cooked. They also seated people at our table over 45 minutes after we had arrived so we had to wait for them to eat their soup salad before they would start cooking dinner.
Really good food!!! Steak was great and would definitely recommend scallops. Would definitely go again.
Great place we loved it good food first time to take daughter love the entertainment put on for us as well by the cooks !!! Would recommend just wish the cook we had incorporated all The techniques we saw others do !!!
Our Hibachi experience was lacking on all fronts to say the least. Despite making reservations and showing up on time, we were put in a private area near the restroom where we were then forgotten about for 20 minutes.Once served, the actual cooking felt robotic and impersonal, with almost nothing being said despite the group trying to interact. The experience lacked that signature Hibachi charm that I had grown to expect from prior visits. The food itself lacked as much soul as the performance. The actual Teppanyaki had a 9:1 batter to squid ratio, and tasted like it had just been popped into the oven from a pre-made frozen package you’d find at Walmart. On top of that, the steak and fried rice were both extremely dry and lacked any semblance of flavour whatsoever.Overall, when dining at Hibachi you’re willing to pay a premium for a fun experience and the taste of fresh food live cooked in-front of you.We left with lighter wallets and an echoing regret that we didn’t eat at the sushi place across the street.
