Earls Kitchen Burlington

We had a reservation and sat right away. This restaurant has a nice ambience, but unfortunately the service is subpar. We ordered an accredited appetizer that came to the table before any of the food orders were taken. No side plates, spoons (for the bowl of diving) had to ask completely unconsciously for each of them as serving personnel. We eat over/on our menus, since no one came back to take our appetizer plates free, left used cutlery on my only napkin?? If it hadn't been there, would it have stayed on the table?? These are basic service details. Overall, food quality was good, but nothing remarkable to return.

The salmon and steak were delicious, I was very surprised!

Giving overall rating of 1. One of our salad dressings had a grape in it. That weirded my friend out because she couldn’t help but wonder if maybe it was a dressing that was unused from another patron. The server just dirt if waived it off and said that thru have other salads that have grains do it must if have just fallen in the container. Most likely the case but still….then my same friend found a long hair in her salad. The server and the manager were quick to apologize and replace the salad with a fresh one, however, what I find disappointing was that the salad was on our final bill. I think that is always the worst possible customer service a restaurant offer. At a minimum, don’t charge for the salad. I’ve known other restaurants to take off the meal in question AS WELL AS the appetizers, or just take off the meal and bar drinks, or just simply take off the meal. That’s customer service 101. I’ve never seen a restaurant do nothing other than to replace the bad meal. Hmmmm. Overall experience a 1 star. Next time we’ll make the trek to Earl’s Sherway or Square One. Both have great service

Food was amazing! Service was friendly and efficient!

Group hasn’t met since the pandemic. We had a wonderful time. Food was very good and we had great service!
