Bidrage med feedbackI thought it was worth writing a second review to this place, after discovering the fall game menu. for the first time, les halles offers a menu with appetizers, a main and cheese or a desert for francs. it was just a terrifying experience again. the crème de bolets with its perfect grad ei was very tasty, the game atriaux (a local speciality of chop meat and offals), a very unusual preparation, was excellent and appreciated also of those around the table that do not eat in the rule offals. the brain served for the main course was perfect, it's just a candy that the chef served it with the game traditional toppings. it is true that it is difficult to innovate when serving the game. as in the rule, the wines offer a good value for money.
Two other restaurants, more highly rated, where I wanted to have lunch, were closed. It was a Tuesday. So, I luckily fell on this place and ate in the cafe part. I was met with a genuine smile and was amazed as all service.. ladies were, it seemed, constantly smiling at the customers. But I was not there for the smiles, but for a good lunch. I was positively surprised. The smiles were a bonus. I took the daily menu, of which there were two choices. One fish menu, which was a Queue de Cabillaud curry/cacahuete at CHF and a meat menu, which was a Roti de Veau aux bolets CHF Both were preceded by either a salad or soup. I choose the soup and the Veal. The mixed vegetable soup was of the thick variety (not some dish-water kind) and very tasty. The Veal was a substantial portion and cooked just right. It was served with noodles and a mix of fresh vegetables. It was lacking a bit of salt, but better this way than too salty! I had two deci of red wine with the meal and a coffee after and when the bill came it was my turn to smile...CHF It was a very pleasant experience!!
As apero - and to consider what we want to drink - we ordered 2 dl open white wine. a light fine chasselas was quickly and friendlyly applied. Besides studying the menu, time remained to study locally. actually, this has no local style that would fit the name. we got the information on the next day made city bus. les halles is the open historical trading room of the city, which is really worth seeing. the interior is perfectly maintained and very clean. but the style of the early 1990s does not make anyone so happy. in my name, I have designed a very comparable local one in 1992 - and like this, the urgently designed renewing requirement has also been developed locally. the two appetizer salads were freshly prepared. the sauce surprisingly, which seems to be difficult to mix a special sauce. the smell of vinegar was far too strong. can happen, isn't a bad luck. I ordered the lammcarrée. 2 double lammings and one edge piece with bones were applied. fine drapped and with nice supplements. the vegetable wall on the meat was far too powerful. I also got the feeling that the kitchen tried to create something special, which was not quite successful here.My partner ass the perlhuhn wing, filled with fresh cheese - also garnished with sweet. together with the cheese that my partner knew because it was correctly mentioned in the menu, the food was simply too powerful, as an immense amount of doubtless delicious cheese was incorporated. the les halles does not have the hardworking craftsmen as target guests, at least not on Saturday evening.A bit more pepp in the design of the local and somewhat less overturned but comprehensible speciality kitchen - and that would have earned 5 points locally.
A very good place near the church was to stop. continental they choose to eat in a cozy dining room. all employees and kitchen brigade will change at the end of December when they are in the opposite, they will take a look. the restaurant and the menu at the door, because if they are not looking, they will miss it shady.
The restaurant is located in the heart of bulle. the decoration is not excellent, but that is eating. try the steak rossini (steak with foie gras and some truffles) and it is delicious! the choice is quite right. they have a delicious AMARONE...de valpolicella. it was the second time that I was there and there is nothing negative to find in this restaurant.
