Ocean Blues - BUDGEWOI

I have had better seafood and was asked to wait outside immediately after placing my order. When I questioned this, I was informed that it was company policy. However, I have never encountered such a policy at any other takeout restaurant. This was enough to convince me to go elsewhere, as it was not the best dining experience.

I've been going to Ozean Blues for 18 years now, and whenever I'm in Budgewoi, I always make sure to visit. However, my recent experience was disappointing. The service was great as usual, but the chips and nuggets were burnt and the kids wouldn't eat them. The fish didn't taste the same as it used to, and the quality seemed to be lacking. Something must have changed in the last few years, and I hope it can be reverted back to its former quality. We can only hope for a better experience next time, as this used to be the best fish and chips on the coast.

On Saturday, September 4th, we ordered seafood for a birthday dinner. We decided to pick up the food to-go due to COVID-19, and it was ready when we arrived. The seafood was delicious. We love this seafood restaurant because they offer more than just fish and chips; they also have fresh seafood options. I was impressed by the fact that they packed our order in a paper bag instead of a plastic bag.

We wanted fresh fish pears at the northern end of the central coast. this little place has made a roaring trade on the doorway on the phone and all behind face masks! we ordered the 5 pieces fish cocktails small. chips x 2. $10 the fish was fresh crispy, no running oil and the chips delicious. However, each cocktail piece was the size of a large bean 5 huge fish cocktails and many chips! next time we order only 1 servier of fish cocktails baptism for 2 adults who love fish a chip!

Saw all the reviews here and thought give it a try. Disappointed with missing item on purchase but what was there was not bad.
