Bidrage med feedbackNice and cosy place, perfect for a romantic dinner. However, the menu is really limited and simple. A bit expensive but worth-it.
Unico is a small restaurant where you eat dishes cooked with exceptional quality products in a family setting. The boss is friendly, listening and inventive. The card changes every day. Natural wines are excellent. The perfect place for a dinner with friends or in love. Want to go back again and again!
Second time we test more to give another chance than because we loved it. Coast home, it's not in the store's genes. We were out on the terrace. It's too bad! Not cheap and report quality price not terrible. The glass wine is mellow. The meat was warm. Potatoes don't cook enough. The fish was well cooked and limited accompaniment. I stayed on my hunger. The entrance (Stracciatella) would have deserved more inspiration. In short there are other Italians in the nicer and better neighborhood.
Heard so many people talking about UNICO that i had to try this one out. so you call, cellphone number ok. stressy voice at the other end, me: hello i would like to make a reservation between now and next hour, do you have a table for 2? : she: yes ok me: ok when? now? in 15min? in one hour? she: come now we arrived and more stress, she wasn 't ready!... euh? being with a friend we started chatting and chatting (you know how it goes with girls anyhow the lady came 2 times asking us what we wanted. the place was empty and didn 't take the time to explain us her cooking!.. .. well...ok... let 's choose then... we decided to take a shared starter Antipasti, 2 options of prices 10/14. (she could have asked which size of dish we wanted ... at the end of the bill she charged us the big option rude main dish i had the dorade it was pretty OK even though the fish was smelly... the tiramisu for dessert was nice i don 't know the experience didn 't gave me the much will to return. but never say never . so hopefully i can give you a better review ;
Unico has been recommended to me a few times by friends, but I haven't been there until after they've fallen into the prizes by Gault Millau. So the expectations were high. The idea of a "cave à manger" sounds cozy, and that's what it looked like at first sight, but it turned out to be a setback. The "you laisse fair" formula suggests that you get four dishes two desserts, but unfortunately, after the second trial, you couldn't cuff me. Everything was too copy and not tasteful and refined enough. I'm a big fan of (biological) physicians, but also these couldn't afford me entirely. Luckily, I like to drink lambic beers, because the aperitif was so troubling and acid that it seemed like you were having a giant. Bottom line is, the concept is fun. The kitchen is literally in the middle of the restaurant, the atmosphere is well there, but I felt like price/quality was cheated anyway.
