Bidrage med feedbackDo not align this place from outside because the inner is very different, cozy and welcoming. my wife had the lachspatties with maic and sweet and I had served the lammfries (liber) with tweepers and speck on my request with chips. we enjoyed our meal immensely, especially the gravy on my meal. the service was very good and the staff pleasant. we will certainly return.
I almost never go to a hotel to eat. Today I was thrilled by a good zomato review and some beautiful pictures of the surroundings of the dining room. another bitterly cold afternoon in ballarat, I thought this kind of hearty eating would hit the point completely. I was wrong. if the food I have received indicates the tariff above the board, then this place serves only mediocre food at best and has quite exorbitant prices for this extra sting. yes, the dining room is something to see and the service of the young lady there was also very good. a point for everyone sad. on an uncharacterically frozen september evening I had a hankering for a lamb cake with veg and on...read more
I brought my wife and my children here yesterday for birthday, it was our first visit, but did not define our last. this place was great, eating was amazing, we had the Sunday 2 curs roast, which was grear the homemade tomatensuppe was really good. my sob had the ribbed plate that was huge and we also had the southern fried chicken plate huge. I would like to recommend one of these dishes, as they were all good. the pub atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the staff was very friendly.
They always have a great night in the north Britain. service is a great, friendly and attentive staff. warm and cozy atmosphere, love the beer garden from the back. had saganaki for entrée – spot on. lamb cuts for the net, such a hearty delicious food – very generous serve! great selection of be on hahn – guinness or furphy are the go!
I used to love this pub's restaurant, but the quality seems to drop every time I go. The meals are far too expensive for what they are . Coleslaw, chips and Ribs $34, mayo wasn't home made and ribs were drowned in BBQ sauce. The southern fried chicken was chicken tenderloins (not on the bone) and was over spiced. The corn was also over spiced. The prawn cocktail entree was...okay...but so...traditional and boring and outdated. If the entrees were $12-$15 each and the mains were $20-$25 each it wouldn't be as bad... but you simply are not getting what you pay for.
