Yamashiro - Brooklyn

Food was decent. They sat us by the door which isn't ideal when it's cold outside and other tables are available. They got my wife's order wrong, they corrected it but still insisted she had ordered the other item. I'll eat here again but have them read back our order.

Really well portioned and well presented sashimi meal it was almost too pretty to eat! And came with a side of rice which was a nice touch as I was going to order some in anticipation. The quality of the sashimi went above my expectations, was fresh and cut in thick slices with a lot of variety of good kinds of fish. The bottom left white fish came a bit frozen though, and too cold for the teeth. It should be made room temperature before being served. At $23 and served with soups or salad beforehand, I would say it was a bargain! Really fast service. I was really impressed and will be back!

Great to see Yamashiro’s new expanded restaurant. We’ve never had bad sushi here!

The sushi was excellent for the price, definitely great value for money. The staff was attentive and service was quick.

Very tasty food, served quickly. Beautiful decor, down to the chopstick holders (small china pandas).
