Spartan Souvlaki - Brooklyn

This restaurant is now one of my go-to dinner spots. A friend recommended it for its delicious Greek food, and despite some initial hesitation due to past negative experiences with Greek cuisine elsewhere, I was pleasantly surprised. The food here is amazing. I ordered a meat gryo with all the fixings and it was delicious. We also shared a large plate of Greek fries, which were fantastic. The portions were generous, with my meat gyro being so big that I could only eat half and had to take the rest home. My friend had a combo gyro with lamb, beef, and sausage, which was even larger than mine. The Greek fries were topped with feta cheese and bursting with delicious flavors. It was the best dining experience and the staff were incredibly friendly. I'm so glad I tried this place and will definitely be coming back for more.

This is a fantastic restaurant that I have been going to for seven years and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, very affordable, and authentically Greek. It's a step above fast food, as they offer platters of traditional Greek dishes, but the prices are surprisingly low. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. The owner, George, is a friendly guy and his children do a great job helping to run the restaurant. He is also generous in giving back to the community, donating thousands of dollars to charity and supporting the New York Police Department. Parking can be a bit tricky, as it's mostly residential, and be sure to feed the meters after 7:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays. I love this place so much that I even bought one of their t-shirts to show my support. The mouth-watering food alone is reason enough to visit this restaurant and keep coming back for more!
