I always struggle to find pies like my family made growing up. After finding Damascus Bread Pastry shop, I won’t anymore. The pies are incredible and remind me of what my family always made. The spinach pies and lahm bi ajeen were particularly great. I can’t wait to go back and get more!

If you are ever in Brooklyn Heights, a visit to this place is definitely a must. Their chicken pie is amazing, and their cheese kanafe is great for dessert. The staffs are usually friendly and helpful.
