Bidrage med feedbackWe had a great experience at Map yesterday. The chicken lollipops were super tasty; sesame ginger and Frank’s Red Hot gastrique were on point. I got the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich and it did not disappoint. The highlight, however, were the French Fries. They were hand cut, perfectly golden, and were both soft and crispy in all the right places. My buddy, who is prone to make modifications, was thrilled to be able to substitute chicken on his sandwich and add avocado and bacon. The beer was also good, but the food showed a lot of love and craftsmanship. Dog regular, Hildy, hung out on the patio overlooking the water , and was the literal sweetest. Well done, Map!
My wife and I have had to stop my than once because of how busy they are and we finally were able to stick around the other day. Food was pretty good, beer wasn't anything special. We did pretty good up until we were ready to go then we had to wait for the waitress to finish a conversation before we could pay. I understand being friendly and all but we waited way longer than I thought we should have to try and pay our bill. We would be back for lunch but not worth waiting in line for.
This spot was recommended by a local; and after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to give it a try. They do not serve wine, as I was hoping but had my other choice of Diet Coke and many of their own brews. My husband tried three different beers; by Montana state law, that is all you can be served at a brewery. Luckily, the one he liked best was sold in 6 packs in a cooler near the entrance and one went back to the motel with us. They also sell Crowlers and Growlers. We chose their nachos for our meal. It was a good serving size with lots of cheese spread throughout the chips unlike many where it is pretty much only on the top. The a/c was comfortable and didn't freeze me out. They have an outdoor seating area which gives a view of the small lake.
We stopped in just after a rainstorm when everyone had the same idea of going to a brewery to sit inside...The outdoor seating was all wet so many people moved inside and created a bit of a surge for seating. We were eventually able to sit at the bar and enjoy some food and drinks. The beer menu was broad with several styles on offer. The food was diverse beyond the usual pub grub but still had the usual suspects available if you want (burgers, wings etc). The decor was fun and there are a few obscure iconic references hidden in rafters, columns etc. The best thing was once the weather cleared out the outside seating has the best view of any place we visited our entire trip (for beer places). Well worth a stop if you 're in the area.
Sunday afternoon after a delayed flight (3hrs)… beer:30 time!Dropped in and enjoyed a midas crush. Great tasting beer, good atmosphere, pretty solid service.
