The Bean Counter Cafe - BOWSER

The Bean Counter is a popular spot for our group, thanks to the numerous hiking trails in the area. Whether we opt for a treat and coffee to enjoy indoors or outdoors on the terrace, or a quick lunch on busy days, the café never disappoints. After indulging in their delicious food and coffee, we love to explore the nearby shops for some unique finds.

We always look forward to ordering from this restaurant. The food is top-notch and made from scratch. Our favorite is the turkey sandwich, it tastes just like home. The staff is very friendly and if you bring your dog, they have an outdoor seating area where you can relax.

My friend, who lives nearby, took me to this restaurant. It was cozy and the soup and sandwiches were delicious. We resisted the temptation to try the tempting candy.

Locals love this place....big coffee... Sandwiches are fresh and very tasty. Mostly for lunch... can be busy in summer

We visit The Bean Counter quite often, living not far away at Qualicum. We sometimes go up the coast for a drive and sometimes walk our hound at an excellent nearby walk, the LIghthouse Community Park. When venturing out up the highway we make a...point of stopping for a coffee and a bite. The food we have had has always been excellent and the service likewise. The staff there have always been friendly and helpful. My wife and I often share a sandwich on incredibly good bread. My only complaint is that when we walk our hound on Sundays, we forget The Bean Counter closes as 4 pm and so have to forego the planned visit.
