French Press Coffee Roasters

The most amazing coffee shop I’ve been to on the island! Delicious food, muffins and coffee. Mushroom toast had so much flavour. Mocha with oat milk was perfect and not overly sweet. Muffin was really fresh. Great ambiance and friendly staff. So glad I found this place. It’s going on my “must stop” list for every time I’m on the island.

I am usually doubtful when a business uses the word French (I am French) as it seems that often it means pretentious appearance to cover up mediocrity. Not here! Coffee is delicious. The scone was one of the top 3 I have tasted in my life. My wife’s Sunriser sandwich was quite good too. I would recommend a visit.

Love the staff and service here. They always have a smile on their face and are happy to see you. They have their seating all separated so you feel safe in there. Their sandwiches are wonderful as well you have to try their muffins absolutely superb.

By far, the best coffee on the island and perhaps in western Canada! I’ve been a coffee connoisseur for many years, invested in equipment, time and training and seek only the best roasts to suite my taste. FP has surpassed my expectations of finding good coffee in the island. I love the Winter Wonderland blend, Ethiopia Kilenso and the Home Blend. All outstanding. Love the friendly, welcoming staff! Coffee is so good! I love that there are so many options when it comes to their espresso menu items! Today I had an Iced Mocha to enjoy at work!
