Chez jacques - Bourges

Eating was terrible, cowardly all dried, melons and also sink (picked as if they were sitting on the side all day. the leber was in order, but the chips were soggy and soaked in oil. not worth eating in the mercure. the toilet had no soap or towel .. ready terrible.

We arrived at our hotel in bourges at 18 o'clock without knowing where we wanted to eat. our recipeist recommended three restaurants and we chose them. we were glad we made it! very well presented, delicious French cuisine. Amuse-bouche with aperitif. Foie...gras, st. jacques risotto and thunfish with roasted aubergine. we chose a quincy wein that is local. the decor is smart French and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. we'd eat here in a way.

Great place to visit...very nice location...excellent food, prompt service, provided by nice and friendly people. We recommend the Menu du palais. Decent prices. A great experience overall!

Food was very good, service excellent. Reasonably priced. What more do you need. Some of the chef's specials were not quite what the average Brit is used to, like sweetbreads and veal kidneys, but the home made burger was to die for.

2eme visite. Courgette et fromage frais en mise en bouche. La potence (photo) est un rêve devenu réalité pour les amateur de boeuf. Les frites sont maison. Le décor est magnfique avec la terrasse face au palais Jacques Coeur. Service sans chichi mais ahreavle.Aucune fausse note ☺. Ideal quand on doit manger seul en déplacement.
