Tavern On The Lake - BOLTON LANDING

The soups were good. The stuffed mushrooms had no flavor. Our server hardly had time for us, and the place was almost empty. It was like we were putting her out whenever she came to the table. When we got our check, she kind of tossed it on the table and walked away. Overall, it was not a satisfying experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

We are just leaving the Tavern on the Lake and it was super disappointing so don’t go!!!! You will only be happy with the view. We are here visiting from Ohio. We saw on the website that it was very nice looking and the food looked amazing online. However, what we ordered sure wasn’t good except for one thing which was the French Onion Soup. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, the fish and chips and the crabcake sandwich. Both of our meals came out cold including the French fries and the onion rings. We also ordered dessert hoping for something amazing which was the apple crisp Al a mode and it was not warmed and the apples were crunchy. This whole experience was a total flop.

Nobody tells u 4% with credit card personally outrageous more than what a credit card would charge good was adequate but such a damper on credit card why not include plus they sneak it in you nobody tells you Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came in for an early dinner. Atmosphere in what seemed to be the main dining/bar area was very active with many drinks flowing. We sat down on the water, very nice spot (watch your head). Our waiter, Joseph, was very kind and attentive. Between us, we ordered the crab cake sandwich with chips and the swordfish and scampi. The crab cake was good flavor, but lacked texture and acidity. Swordfish was cooked and seasoned well; the shrimp was over cooked and under seasoned. The sides of the day roasted potatoes were room temp and inconsistently cooked (some raw, some cooked); green beans were under cooked and under seasoned.
