Bay Breeze Restaurant Bar - Blaine

I've loved coming here for many years but tonight was just hitting different and not in a good way. Food was great as usual (if not a smidge overpriced) but it took over half an hour after being seated to get our orders taken. To be fair, we did visit on labor day. But it seemed like they only had two bussers (one of which was also acting as host) and one person taking orders who was also manning the bar.My grandparents love it here though. My grandma grew up in Birch Bay and she loves telling me about the old pictures they have hanging up in the waiting area.Hopefully things will be better timewise next time.Kid-friendliness: One of the families seated near us had several children so I can only assume the place is kid friendly. I heard tale of crayons for coloring provided along with an activity page.

Great service, great seafood, obviously cooked fresh to order. Steamed clams in smoked pepper garlic white wine sauce and Sririacha prawns are amazing, both served with outstanding toasted sourdough. We were in Blaine/Semiahmoo area for a month this summer and made Bay Breeze our go-to 2-3 times/week. Couldn’t get enough and Stasha always made us feel welcome with great drinks and service.

Food was all really good. My wings were plump and delicious, and my drinks were well balanced. My daughter loved all her food, and my boyfriends calamari was fresh and good portion. I felt tha ambiance in the restaurant wasn’t the greatest, but the view of the bay was amazing!

My boyfriend and I had a great experience grabbing dinner and drinks up on the patio! The service was great and the food was equally good. The beach view really enhances the experience, and the wait staff gives you the right amount of attention/privacy. Absolutely we will be eating here again!

Excellent location right on the water. We sat right next to the window looking over the bay. What a view! Both the bay breeze and black bean burger were pretty good, but the in-house clam chowder was definitely my favorite. Place was a bit pricy but the staff was really nice and professional.
