Il Ghiottone - BIBBONA

My girlfriend and I went for a coffee to Il Ghiottone in the morning before leaving town. My coffee was fine but did not have the nice foam on top I like to get on a macchiato (the guy in charge of them looked very young and probably not skilled yet), the ice cream was good and fair-priced. I wanted to have a croissant but they looked better in other places so I decided to pass. With a few improvements this place could be a gold mine, for now it is a good place but nothing great. P.s: they had many pastries which look great though, i would definitely try them in the future. Staff was nice and gentle, which is a plus. 3.5/5

My Italian husband grew up visiting Marina di Bibbona every August and going to Il Ghiottone for their bomboloni, cappuccino and gelato. They're simply the best! Their other pastries are divine as well. He introduced me to this gem of a place four years ago and ever since then we make every effort to return to Marina di Bibbona and Il Ghiottone. Their bombolini is, in our opinion, the best in Italy we dream about it and look forward to it every visit! Il Ghiottone is a family run business that, according to my husband, has remained true to their high quality pastries for years, so you get what you pay for! Your visit will leave you craving for more!

Wednesday morning after deciding to have breakfast in this pastry shop where kindness does not reign supreme. we arrived we were in 10 people, my brother and I went in to see what pasta were there and then to make the order for all the others the rude staff sent us out because there were too many people inside (3 people) so we changed bars we went to the bar at the corner to helio all the other people. I therefore recommend avoiding this place. The covide gave you to the head maybe they were the masks you wore for too long to fade away the brain. good life again

Excellent ice cream and pastry with a wide range of gozzi and pasta, friendly staff. the prices a little higher than standard but quality, cone or ice cream cup 2.80€

I do not understand why a local with aic certification has no gluten-free capsules available. It is shameful not to have a product you are certified of and some ice creams were not gluten-free! the ice cream was however discreet with a quite wide choice.
