Le Dock - Bay Shore

Le dock is not open for lunch although I have booked my reservation here. when the restaurant canceled the reservation, I called to find out why. the person was actually. not apologetic that my plan was ruined. I redesigned my day and went to dinner instead. slower service, although it was served only five tables. I've finished my cocktail a long time before I was asked if I wanted another one. empty starter plates were about ten minutes. not what I expected from a jean georges restaurant. will not come back. would not recommend it.

It was a nice little surprise that was fucked away in the fire island. the ambiente was rustic and cozy and the food was absolutely delicious. the steak was boiled to perfection and we had also the simple garden garnel that were spicy. the portions were large and the gin mint martinis are not to be missed!

It is the end of the season on fire island, so a few elements were not available on the menu. the cocktails and eating were however top notch, and with most of the summer folk it was very quiet. an excellent evening.

My wife and I had a stellar evening at our 10th anniversary in le dock. from the gracious recipe to the friendly, attentive service, fantastic cocktails delicious food. together for a fantastic night for both of us.

Somewhat overpriced considering all aspects of the experience, food, service, and ambience. But still elevated compared to the options on the island. Dinner for our family with two children came to $65 per person. Mussels and crispy salmon appetizers were the highlights.
