Jewel-osco - Barrington

Good selection and great prefabricated items. The bakery is particularly impressive. The service is good, the prices are sometimes something high that makes sense for the location in the city.

Super clean business. Sushi is as good as many good sushi joints. Fresh products. Huge product variety. Prices are slightly higher than some other places. Jewel, however, has some fairly large sales and gas rewards. I wish the staff at this point would be more friendly. I don't remember ever being greeted in all my visits. They only seem to speak when they are needed at check-out.

I love this place. The couple that owns it are wonderful people.
