This place is not only awesome to be at, but the food was really good. They have gf buns that are made here and they are better than any regular bread I’ve eaten. Definitely 5star meal and service

Visiting from Australia, I booked afternoon tea at the Fairmont with high expectations but was a little bit underwelmed!! Had previously sent email before I booked to make sure they could provide GF. Answer was certainly. Was very disappointed with what was served to me. The "scone" was like a little very hard biscuit that was extremely hard to cut to put on the jam cream. The finger sandwiches were very ordinary. But the view out the window more than made up for it. I have made GF scones myself and they are no different to ordinary scones so my husband and myself were quite amused.

The chateau deli is closed and has been replaced by the pantry of the guide. in contrast to deli, the guide pantry had no gluten-free muffins or sandwiches when we were there. there were good bars and popcorn snacks. a little. frankly, little choice besides baked also for gluten food. there are more storeroom dedicated to gourmet pickles as actual food. beautiful, but disappointing. I spoke with our disappointment about the missing gluten-free options. Perhaps this will improve in the future. finger crossed, but not abandoned. the chateau restaurants have some gluten-free options, but no dedicated frit and pricy.
