Bidrage med feedbackI was alone looking for a quick lunch. Huge line up and very slow service. After I ordered a woman and what seemed to be her daughter came in without masks. The man behind me spike up and the customer pretended not to hear. The manager then came out to say that they will not be policing. The woman and her daughter got their drinks before me. It took 20 minutes for me from the time I entered to the time I left.
The cashier at the restaurant today was extremely rude. When I went to pay and she was putting my drinks on a tray, she asked if I wanted the tray. When I requested for the drinks to be served without the tray, she arrogantly continued to put the last drink on the tray, ignoring my request and walking away to get the machine. It was another employee who recognized the rudeness and then took the drinks out of the tray and handed them to me. There was no "thank you", no straws, nothing. We are regular customers here, and this type of customer service is unacceptable.
I stopped here with my grandchildren yesterday on my way through Bancroft. They were allowing too many people in, and there was insufficient social distancing. Even worse, while most of the staff were wearing masks, the woman in the kitchen who was preparing the food was not wearing a mask. I had been up kayaking on the Ottawa River in some pretty big rapids, and I felt after stopping here that Tim Hortons was the most dangerous thing I had done all week. On top of all that, it was slow.
After a weekend in the Forest a Timmies was a welcome treat. Always nice to find Hortons across the country.
I stopped at Tim Hortons over the Christmas holidays for lunch while driving through Bancroft. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. i was told that they no longer sold it on ciabatta buns and asked if it was OK on White. I agreed to a white bun. Then realized that they were charging extra for the bun. I asked about the extra charge and was told that white buns were extra. They did the substitution not me! So essentially they were no longer offering the sandwich at the price posted on the menu but wouldn't be changing the menu until sometime in the new year. My opinion of Tim Hortons certainly fell and I would like to warn others to carefully check what they are charging you. Who knows how often they pad the bill.
