Grelha do Areinho - Avintes

This is a very good community restaurant. If you wish typical (but interesting and well prepared) Portuguese food and prices are a good choice. We enjoyed traditional soups, an excellent fresh mixed salad, a “half dose” of very good beef steak (a generous amount for 2 people), rice and a bottle of premium douro wine. Our total fee was just over €30. Our server, Raquel, speaks English well. It was very helpful in our reservation and our order from the menu. We live in Vila Nova da Gaia near the river and the monastery of Serra do Pilar. It cost us about 10€ per route in a Uber for the 15 minutes drive to Avintes. The restaurant is located on a well-lit street and free parking is available. We will continue to visit this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant near Santo Inácio Zoo. The service is fast and beautiful The daily dish is good and not expensive The wine of the house is great I will surely return great food

This restaurant is what every person should experience at least once in his life! it is a traditional family restaurant with great food, a relaxed family atmosphere, community connections and amazing service. we stumbled on this place completely by coincidence, see the natives slipping in....We were treated with such ease and consideration in contemplating our lack of portugueses by helping the owner's son to eat and weeping to choose our taste. he helped us to understand the menu to talk to us in English and help us with our horrific portraits. we loved it and appreciate eating there. thanks to all of the two Canadians! we give it 5/5!

O Bacalhau com alheira estava excelente! Uma espécie de bacalhau com broa em que os sabores se misturam de uma maneira muito boa. Recomendo!!
