Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped by for lunch to try their restaurant month menu. It didn't look like they were offering it so we ended up just ordering off the menu. They had a normal menu as well as a specials menu. We grabbed a few things to share and the waiter was surprised at the amount of food we had ordered. The curry chicken was nice. Similar to other South East Asian curries in flavour. We opted for bread but you could have had it with rice too. The papaya salad was right and refreshing but I was hoping for the dressing to be a bit bolder with its flavours. It had a nice amount of chicken and prawns. The Bahn Mi was interesting. The flavour was ok and it was served with a pretzel baguette so the crust wasn't as crispy and flakey. The meat was ok but the veggies were drenched in some sort of brown sauce so it was hard to tell if they were pickled or not. The stuffed squid was cooked really well, it was almost like a sausage due to the softness of the squid. The pork and prawn pancake was nice. The pancake was nice and crispy. The dipping sauce was a bit disappointing though, again lacking the flavour bomb that gives it nice sweetness and saltiness. The best part was the desert. The green rice panna cotta was silly and had a really unique and tasty flavour. I wasn't a big fan of the berry coolie due to the seeds but it did go well with the panna cotta. The banana sago was nice too. The coconut soup with the sago was quite light and sweet. The bananas were just bruleed so you didn't really get a big hit of banana flavour in the sago itself. The place wasn't very big but did have a fair number of tables. The staff were friendly and nice. It is a nice place for some tasty food.
We had dinner here early on a Saturday evening. The spring rolls were the best we’ve both ever had! Deliciously crispy and packed with flavour. For main we had the beef noodle salad and the ribs. Both were divine! Very reasonably priced (especially for the CBD! with friendly staff and great happy hour deals, with happy hour on Saturday being the entire night!! Definitely recommend.
Pho and the beef noodle salad portions were relatively generous, staff were attentive, and the food was tasty. Would be a good place for lunch during the working break hours.
Got the classic beef pho and it didn't disappoint. Really good overall sott with a nice interior setup. The food was good too and pretty affordable. Would definitely come back to try other dishes too.
Been here for lunch and dinner, they make really great cocktails – and their happy hour drinks are very cheap $6 for wine $10 for 2 Heinekens). Their fried spring rolls are served in a unique way as they come out almost flat, with a side of plain noodles that goes nicely with the spring roll dipping sauce. If you’re after something not so large, I recommend this dish. Their pho is yummy too. Usually busy during peak dining times. Service is great.
