China Yum Char - Auckland

The dim sum was mediocre, but the entrees were fantastic. I brought my friends here and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The fish dish was flavorful and the lemon chicken was a hit.

We always visit this restaurant on weekend mornings for yum cha. The dim sum is delicious and the specially made porridge is so yummy, especially the beef porridge. The prices are average compared to other yum cha restaurants. We can't wait to go back next time.

If you think Yum-Char then this is place to have it. Being able to have Yum-Char for dinner here is big plus. Food tastes delicious and it’s great being able to pick from dishes rotating through the restaurant (on trolleys pushed by staff). Apart from being a little out of the CBD and no real free car parking the only downfall to this place is a lot of the staff being a bit rude and moody. But I will admit it’s probably one of the least rudest Yum-Char restaurants in town.

Favorite dishes include Pork Siu Mai, Prawn Dumplings, BBQ Pork Buns, Won Ton Soup, Prawn Soup, and Chicken Feet. However, I did not enjoy the duck dishes or sweet and sour pork. Overall, the food is tasty but some dishes are overpriced, such as the bok choy.

Last night we want some nice live seafood. So we decided to go Chinese restaurant for dinner. I like this restaurant when it’s not too busy because staff can look after and serve us well and no pressure. I came to this restaurant 3 times already within one month. We like service and food here.
