This place is loved by my whole family who I have taken here for years since my children were tiny now I take my grandson who loves feeding the ducks swans and geese. They are very good as they provide 20p if you do not have for their toilet and staff are very friendly.my grandson loves being able to get food or an ice cream too. He then likes to walk up to the town and go to the childrens play ground.
Very popular place for all age groups. feeding and booting seems to be the favorite here. at the far end of the mill road is a limited parking space. my enkelin loves it. there is a clue for some fantastic walks around the Arundel property from here, but some of the hills could be a little for some! there is a beautiful walk around the lake when they go left to the north side. beautiful picnic area and tea/coffee facilities. the wetland centre is a few meters on the road that is worth a visit.
Great tea rooms in fabulous setting of Swanbourne Lake. We had coffee and cheese scone, both were delicious. Hot and cold food served at reasonable prices. Seating inside or out, takeaway also available.
Took no and neffen for the afternoon on the lake, what had fun we had to feed. eis and tee zu-wow ice cream! boot cheap enough to rent. beautiful environment. went too well into the lock. beautiful walks around and down to the river or along the river. children have been amusing all the way away, just keep them away from the river! the sea is a must:
