Real authentic Mexican food. Taco's, rice, beans, menudo taste good. Just like food family made growing up. Carnitas combo's are delicious.Food: 5/5

We have been coming here for decades. My mother only used the Tamale masa from Sonora and of course they always came out delicious so in family tradition, I only use Sonora Masa and now passed it down to my Daughter and Granddaughters. Never disappoints. Thank you

It's really hard to find authentic Mexican food in Cerritos and Artesia so the answer to that is Sonora Mexican food it's delicious and the food is quality and cooked to order so if you live in the area and like Mexican food this is the place to go. Don't let the old building fool you!

Sonora is the place to go for authentic Mexican food. Their breakfast plates and breakfast burritos are so delicious. It's run by a really nice family who take really good care of their customers. The food is outstanding. My favorite is their Chile rellenos. The coating is thin, fried to perfection and loaded with cheese. Their salsa Rojo and salsa Verde are flavorfully delicious. I really liked the enchiladas as well. This place will not disappoint.

I've been coming here for more then 15 years since High school and till this day they still have my favorite carne sada burrito best with sour cream and cheese! I've tried more then 40+ burrito spots and for some reason I still keep coming back here I don't know what it is with there carne sada or how they marinate the steak and i like steak with fat and it has a good amount of fat. Also the beans in the burrito is also good my ex-wife always needs it to be removed but only because she never really liked beans on anything. Also there hot sauce is the best they make it from scratch so just the flavor of the sauce is amazing with the burrito! I don't know if I love this place cause of the memories I had walking home from school I stopped by here a lot of just cause it really does taste so amazing lol Let me know what you guys think if anyone else have tried this spot!
