Cavallo Nero - Ancaster

Amazing experience from start to finish. Very diverse wine selection. Amazing food.. would highly recommend the bella vita... truffled mushroom gourmet pizza... or chicken focaccia... I cant pick a favourite dessert, they are all delicious. I have been here on many different occassions and the service never fails to amaze me. Always excited to see Cavallo at the local market. Definitely the place to be in Ancaster. Cheers.

On Sept 16th we had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful place fabulous food, excellent service (Josh) and excellent music. I had the pasta special made gluten free style with lobster and my husband had a chicken dish with asiago cheese sun dried tomatoes which he said was out of this world. We decided to come back for our 32nd wedding anniversary and on Sept 22/16 we had Olivia look after us I had the gluten free pizza with caramelized onions, bacon, goat cheese, chicken and it was to die for! My husband had the pecan crusted chicken and again he could not say enough... Excellent Service excellent music and again a wonderful time. Olivia also came to the table with a slice of the best flourless chocolate cake with a sparkler in it for our celebration what a wonderful touch!! Will definitely be back again.

Love this Gem!! One of my favorite go to places!! Lol might be slightly addicted to one of their dishes! Foods always amazing and their bartender is awesome; he and the other staff are always very nice and welcoming! I highly recommend Cavallo Nero all the time to friends and family! I'm never disappointed with this hidden gem in Ancaster!!

What an amazing place. Outstanding all around food, presentation and service. Mark was wonderful and helpful with wine food selection. Looking forward to next time.

Dined here the other night when we were in Ancaster. We loved the restaurant. Olivia, our server, was attentive and provided great service (thanks, Olivia! . The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. We'll stop by again the next time we're up that way.
